John Whites Diary/Journal

I, John Smith am about to leave for England. I’m getting somewhat exited but mostly nervous. It took such a long time to get to our new location, Santa Cruz. I am afraid that when I leave, bad things will happen. Even when I am here there are multiple deaths. I told the colonists than if they leave to carve CRO in a tree. I also said to carve an x in the same tree to indicate that they are in danger. When I aboard the ship, I take one last look at my desperate tribe. When all I see is an outline of my tribe, the Croatoans tribe, I turn away, wishing the best for them. We finally reach our destination, England. Once we gather our supplies, we set sail for another long journey. We got so exited when we landed on the Santa Cruz. I was in shuck when I saw that our tribe has been abandoned. I look around and out of the corner of my eye; I see that there was CRO carved into a tree without an x. I hope they are okay.
