Dear Diary,
Roanoke is the kind of place that I don’t want to be. It’s all mothers’ fault. She pushed me on this boat and now I’m stuck on here for who knows when! I had family and friends back at England and now I’ll never see them again. It’s bothering me that I don’t see land anywhere and my head hurts. My brother’s heads hurt too. It’s no fair that I’m the only born girl in this family and I never get the attention. For now I’m stuck on this crummy ship for now.
