Dear Diary,
Our men have been murdered! There are no words to describe how we colonists feel! The only words that come into our mind are REVENGE, RETALIATION, and REVOLTION! We would set out to attack the next day. We are filled with anger and determination to kill! We prepare today, and tomorrow we will go out and find the people that ruined our lives! We went in search, we chased after all of the members of the Croatoan tribe, men, women, and children. We shot and killed one man. And that instant after he hit the ground I realized something… These weren’t the people that killed our men…they were completely innocent. I yelled to my tribe…STOP! But it was too late. He was already gone and the Croatoans now hated us! We headed back to our land…we were all devastated. We killed the wrong people…we were now enemies… This would now haunt all of us…for the remainder of our horrible lives.
