My hopes jumped as I heard someone yell “land”. So then there was a lot of confusion as everyone ran to see our new home. But after a while I got a clear view. It was a large mass of nothing but green on the horizon. As we climbed off the ship onto the sandy beach I saw so many excited faces but some scared. Now to find a place to build a fort. After an hour of walking we finally found a clearing where we decided to build. It took three weeks but finally the fort and everything in it was finished and ready. But then that night I heard something rustle the bushes outside the fort walls then I looked up at the night sky and just before I fell asleep I saw a light deep in the woods it was a fire. At that moment I knew we are not alone.
