The Mysterious Water

Event: Colonists land at Santa Cruz

Dear journal,
At last we are finally on land. We colonists needed fresh air. We also needed some food and water. What’s up with the soldiers? Why are they all sick? I don’t want to drink the water now. The water they drank in “evil water”. The Croatoan tribe leader said. That green fruit in the vines are dangerous. I think some of the soldiers ate the fruit. Captain can we leave now yes we can. Now soldiers get the tortoises back to the ship. Now we have finally set sail again.
